Installation I was first activated on ADSL (3 Megabit profile). Ofcourse, I wasn't happy with it, so contacted customer support multiple times. In the end, I got my VDSL2 (16,5 Mbps profile with 12 Megabit shaping, because I have Comfort). Speed I get my advertised speeds. 12 Megabit/sec in download, 1 Megabit in upload Support The support itself is sufficient, but the waiting times on the phone are long. (a minimum of 20 minutes per call) Luckely, you don't get charged when you phone to the helpdesk (0800-number) Conclusion Speed is a-ok; support itself is sufficient; datavolume is sufficient (50 GB for 32,50 euro is quite ok); VDSL2-network is a-ok.

Installation 3 days loss of internet connection. 2.5 months delay between upgrade order an install! Information Belgacom advertised 18 MBit for internet Plus when we upgraded to get free TV and more speed. After 2 months delay in which Belgacom technical service approved the change, we finally got a 4.8 MBit ADSL2+ line. No mention that it was not possible to provide a faster line. When using TV line performance drops to 1-2 Mbits. In this case Belgacom is bluntly misleading. After installation they claim to only provide volume, but no disclaimer was shown in the order process. Speed Achieve 1-2 Mbits with 18 Mbits contract when using TV. Achieve 4 Mbits when not using TV. Support Email support and phone OK. But Belgacom did not respond to written complaint after 3 months. Confirmed when asked by phone (3 months later) to have received the complaint, but no one was assigned to it yet. Conclusion Perhaps a viable option in some regions, but when living to far from a phone exchange performance unacceptable. Support also not acceptable. 1 Mbit performance with 18 Mbit contract!

Speed With Belgacom ADSL GO I had big issues. My connection got lost up to 2 or 3 times an hour due to technical issues. The ADSL cables weren't able to get me a permanent connection. After adressing this over and over again with Belgacom tech people, I finally saw no other option then to switch to VDSL (using the Belgacom B-Box2). The line is stable ever since and my speed has gone up to twice the speed when I was still using ADSL. Still, my neighbour who has TELENET has 40% faster upload and download speeds. Support Belgacom support is the worst you can imagine. Their free number takes roughly about 30-45 minutes before you get an answer. I had numorous tech peeps coming over to my house to fix my 'connection lost' problem. After six months I switched to VDSL and ever since the issues have stopped. If I didn't have a contract for just over 4 months, I would have switched to TELENET. Conclusion The download limit of 25 gigabyte is rediculous! In december I used 45 gb and had to pay an extra 20 euros.
The speeds are 40% slower then the ones from my neighbour who uses TELENET. The Tech support is a disaster. Need I say more?

Installation 5/5 - No problems here. Information 2/5 - The website is horrible. When I finally thought I found it, the link was broken. After 1 hour of searching (I kid you not) I gave up. Reliability 1/5 - I keep my fingers crossed hoping that my internet will still be up when I submit this rating...
edit: 3rd try was a success. Speed 2/5 - On a good day I get 200 kbytes/s. I don't have many good days. I don't think I've ever reached 50% of the theoretical maximum. Support 1/5 - I tried searching their website, I tried calling them. More than once. When I finally reached them, they blamed my modem. The next day they admitted it was they had problems themselves. What will they make up tomorrow?
I don't plan on renewing my subscription. Conclusion Bad.

Installation The installation was easy; I hooked up all the cables, I put a CD in my cd drive and simply clicked "NEXT" a couple of times and everything was installed by itself. Information The belgacom site is crap. Reliability Internet is always up. The only problem I had was when a Belgacom worker accidentally plugged out all of our cables in the nearest belgacom server. We actually had to pay for the 'repairs' as well. Speed I only get around 6Mbps whereas I should be gettings 18Mbps Support The customer support is horrible. The people I've contacted so far don't know anything about the products they're selling. When I tell them I want to change provider they simply tell me to wait a bit for new promotions. When I tell them I _really_ want to end my subscription they still tell me I should think about it and come back later with my conclusion. I still have my Belgacom subscription. Conclusion Only subscribe to Belgacom if you're rich and all you want to do is check your emails. Do not subscribe to Belgacom (Or Telenet, for that matter) because there certainly are more cheaper and better subscriptions available.

Installation Very well done. Was free thanks to a promotion. Reliability Had a few problems after the upgrade from 4Mbps to 12Mbps. Eventually a new copper line was put in place and a transfer from VDSL1 to VDSL2 was done. After that, all OK Speed As from yesterday: 12Mbps down / 1Mbps up. So I cannot complain about that. :-) Support Willing to help yes. Knowledge of helpdesk personel is generally OK. Efficiency is to be improved on certain aspects. Conclusion I have a special discount thanks to my employer, but even without this reduction, I probably would choose Belgacom again (but only in combination with TV).
