Installation no problems, just wait for 3 weeks Information ok, I find what I need Reliability line is stable, though during 3 weeks had many problems, see speed Speed I pay for max24, I get 3.. And they don't want to help (unless I pay for a repair), a real shame! From the moment Dommel is online at my address, I leave EDPNET!
First 3 months I got a good speed, then from one day to the other the line went dead, after many hours support calls (at least 12 full hours over a months time). The line was gruadually downgraded and became only stable at lower ADSL1 speed, while I'm paying for ADSL2+ technology.
Support As I said in the speed part, 12 hours of calling with only as result a stable line, but heavily downgraded in speed. I had 3 weeks of almost no internet, they refused a credit note.
They don't want to reapair the line, because 3mbit is still within spec they say. I pay for max24. What a shame.
Always umbrella behaviour, they don't take responsibility for their customers. The fault is Belgacom and they can't help it, they say. I don't want to buy a service from a company that does not want the help their customers. Conclusion Stay away from EDPNET is my advice. I just have to swallow 3mbits when paying for max24. What a shame!
If you have a problem, they will only point to Belgacom!
They don't want to downgrade the service to max6 (the line only gives 3), because a signed a contract for a year. If I want to change after that period, I have to pay again an installation fee. Just crazy!

Conclusion A rather good provider with decent speed, and not too big download limits. All in all the best ISP i've ever had (and I've had tiscalinet, planetinternet, scarlet, belgacom), and for a very decent price.

Installation Using the wiki information, self-installation is a piece of cake. Information Basic and relevant information on the homepage, regular new abo updates. Using the EDPnet wiki pages you don't need extra info.
The only bad thing for now: EDPmeter. Pff, the new online version is quite crappy. Just use ISPmonitor instead ^^ Reliability Good and mostly reliable. Because EDPnet uses the FUP sometimes connection may be lost when very large amounts of bandwidth are used.
A few weeks ago i had my first long time disconnection (for about 6 hours) because of a power failure in the Brussels' Speed I'm living in region Turnhout and i get a constant speed of ±5000 kbps (±615 KB/s) with peaks up to 650 KB/s. The upload speed is very sweet with a constant speed of 520 kbps (65 KB/s).
I'm a loyal customer for about 2 years. Support Very friendly and helpful support. Conclusion I'm a customer for about two years and I'm very happy with the changeover from Skynet to EDPnet. EDPnet is a small (but growing) provider with little entourage using a simple and straight policy: Low cost, good performance and astonishing speeds for ADSL.
A bandwidth of 40 GB is quite enough for actual needs, but extra GB's aren't that expensive if needed. I'm looking forward when ADSL2+ is activated in our region (end of august).
On a scale of 0 to 10, EDPnet gets a 9/10. And i'm not complaining...
